Chad Aaron Rotramel

He was born March 18, 1972 in Mt. Carmel, IL to Marilyn (Brooks) and Armine L. Rotramel, Jr. He married Bethany Fishel on May 27, 1995 in West Salem, and she survives.

Chad loved to farm, and had a passion for football. He played, coached, and refereed the sport. He was a good dad and husband, and loved watching his children in whatever sport they were involved in. He was a quiet man with a big presence.

He is survived by his wife Bethany, daughters Hannah and Audrey, and son Andrew, all of rural West Salem; his father, Armine of Browns, IL; and his brother, Chris (Debbie) of Charleston, IL. He was preceded in death by his mother Marilyn.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Moravian Church Sanctuary in West Salem. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 21 at 10 a.m. at the Moravian Church.

Memorials may be made to the Edwards County High School Athletic Department or the Moravian Cemetery Operating Fund.
