William White Brainard, Jr. passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 3 with his devoted sister by his side holding his hand. “Bam” as he was known by his friends and family was born in West Palm Beach, May 26, 1953 and graduated from Forest Hill High School and Palm Beach Jr. College. He attended FAU for one year.
He took early retirement from TSA (August 2014) because of health problems. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, where he sang in the choir. He was loved very much by his Godmothers Jo Neal and Libby Nugent, and dinner pals Rose and Bill Walton.
He is survived by his parents, Rainey and Bill Brainard, his loving sister, Jamie (Tom) Schutz, nephew Chris Hammel and niece Shannon Schutz; cousins, Carole Dorsey, Dr. Tom Pirkle, Dr. Karen Brainard, and many dear friends who knew him as a gentle and kind person.
Visitation will take place on Friday, September 11 at 1:00 PM and a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM at the Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation, and Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33417.
