Mr. Schuman age 91 of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2011 with his family by his bedside. Sidney was born on August 13, 1919 in New York City, NY to the late Mr. Harry Schuman and the late Belle (nee, Lubert) Schuman. Sidney has resided in the Palm Beach County area since 1953. He was a member of the Letter Carriers Union Branch #1690, Temple Anshe Shalom, the Palm Beach County Chapter Barbershop Harmony Society since 1961, the UCO of Century Village, Treasurer of the Wellington Association of Century Village, former Rotary Club of West Palm Beach South, and a 15 gallon blood donor for the Palm Beach Blood Bank.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Dorothy Schuman; his two sons, Jonathan David Schuman and Sanford Schuman both of West Palm Beach, FL; and nieces & nephews, Cindy, Danny, Debbie, Diana, Ronni and Steven.
A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date by the family.
