Mae Alice Myers was born on September 19, 1941 in Savannah, GA and went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 13, 2018 in Loris, SC. She is preceded in death by her parents: George and Tilla Pinckney. We rejoice in knowing that she is reunited with her parents and first grandchild.
She was a woman of many travels, visiting friends and family in California, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas. While visiting with her son Vincent and her daughter-in-law Cathy in South Carolina, she fell ill. She met many friends and attended Church faithfully at Overflow Fellowship Church. She was known affectionately as Mother Myers to many. She loved the children and became especially fond of little Josh. Her days would consist of picking up her morning coffee and a Happy Meal for Josh.
She married Edward C. Myers (deceased) for which four beautiful children blossomed from their union. From an early age, Mae lived her life by the principles of the Bible and used God’s words to guide her actions and treatment of other people. If you had the privilege to know Mae Alice Myers, you know she loved the Lord. Be comforted in knowing she is at peace and rejoicing over each of us. Mae Alice made sure her children knew the Lord and attended church from an early age. She would feed and help anyone in need. She believed that her role was to bring people to Christ. If you knew Mae Alice, please know that she was praying for you when you didn’t even know that you needed prayer. Prayer warrior was an understatement. Mae Alice retired as a technician from the Palm Beach County School District (Hearing and Vision) and was a member of North Riviera Calenthy #57 Order of Eastern Star. She was a servant of the Lord and is reunited with her family in Heaven.
Fond and loving memories will be cherished by her children: Anthony (Renee) Myers of Port Saint Lucie, FL; Cynthia Johnson of Oakland, California; Edward Myers of Atlanta, GA; and Vincent (Cathy) Myers of Loris, SC.
