Indalecio Mascuñana

Indalecio C Mascunana, affectionately known as “Doy”, departed this world at the age of 92 on November 1, 2023. He was born on August 15, 1931, in the town of Talisay, Philippines, and his life was a testament to love, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to family.

Indalecio was a man of remarkable character and an enduring source of inspiration to all who knew him. He was a beloved father, a cherished grandfather, and a devoted friend. He graduated from Cornell University with a Masters in Civil Engineering and made lasting contributions to the US Highway System.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Cecilia Lim, and his son-in-law, Edwin Lim. Indalecio's pride and joy were his beloved grandchildren, Parker Lim and Waverley Lim, who brought endless happiness to his life. He watched them grow and flourish with boundless love and pride.

A man of principle and integrity, Indalecio's values were reflected in his actions and the way he cared for those around him. His memory will continue to shine brightly, illuminating the lives of those who were fortunate enough to have him in theirs.

A celebration of Indalecio's life will be held on November 12, 2023 at Quattlebaum Funeral Cremation and Event Center on Okeechobee Blvd from 2 to 6pm and a funeral mass will be held at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Wellington at 11 am on November 13, 2023.
