Condolences to all the Donaghy family on the passing of Jerry. I first met Jerry in Melbourne about 1976, travelled back to Ireland together for a holiday in 1977, have good memories of a week spent around Carrickmore with Jerry, brought him down to Kerry to spend time with my family, they were good times, and great memories of a good friend. Sad that did not have a chance to catch up again, glad we got to meet the last time Jerry was in Sydney few years ago. Rest in peace.

Gerry had fond memories of my Uncle James McKeown RIP from Galbally supplying the Irish traditional music at their family BBQ,s in Carrickmore when he was a young lad growing up. I met Gerry in Melbourne AUS in the mid seventies sometimes we worked on the same jobs and shared apartments together we did what most young men do work hard make some money and enjoy life, as i moved to other cities in Australia I often met up with Gerry along the way the good old days 
I moved to California in early nineties where we met again he often came by our home, I caught up with Gerry in Carrickmore in 07 met some of his family then drove to Donegal to meet his sisters we had a party that night,then we drove to Cork to his brother and wife they treated me like family,Gerry was great person and great friend I know he’s in heaven,when you’re around Donaghy’s your in good company, May he rest in peace in in his home town Carrickmore My condolences to all his family and friends.

I have too many great memories with Uncle Gerald but I will mention the first time I remember meeting him in 1969 when mom brought us home for Christmas. He was always happy until that one day the Brits lined them outside the house after an incident in town. I knew then Gerald was much more then his laugh. I loved him and will miss him like many of his friends and family! ❤️🙏☘️
