Elizabeth Wooten passed away peacefully at home on February 16th. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 21, 1931. She married Norman Dailey in 1951. She had three children, Michael, Charles and Linda. Then in June of 1955 she lost Norman to polio. She moved to Florida in October of 1955 to be close to her parents and her sister, Patricia Sims. There she met and then married John E Wooten Jr in December of 1959. She then had three more children, Krista, Jana and Keri.
Elizabeth was the happiest when she became a grandmother in 1977 to now Master Chief Petty Officer Air Traffic Controller, Michael John Wooten.
She loved all animals but especially dogs and horses. She had no special breed of dog. She loved them all, raising litters of German Shepards, Collies, Australian Shepards and Saint Bernards to name a few.
She was a die-hard New England Patriots and Tom Brady super fan. She might not have remembered some faces anymore but she sure smiled seeing # 12.
She loved Sanibel Island and the beaches there, spending countless summers there with her sister, her daughters and all their families. She always said “the more the merrier.”
She was the most giving person I know and loved Annie’s Hallmark Store and QVC!!!!
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her two husbands, Norman Dailey and John Wooten, her son, Michael F Wooten and daughter, Jana Schimele.
Elizabeth is survived by her sister and best friend, Patricia Sims; son, Charles (Danna)Wooten; daughters, Linda Wooten; Krista (Bobby)Kajak; Keri Wooten; grandson, Michael J Wooten (Martina); Great grandchildren, Michael J Wooten Jr., Carlos Fiallos; Natalie Fiallos; many nieces and nephews, and Ava, her awesome CNA and friend for 7 years.

A visitation for Elizabeth will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33417. A graveside will occur Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1301 South Dixie Hwy, West Palm Beach, FL 33403.
