“Dottie”, as she was affectionately known, was born in Oakland, CA, on October 10, 1936.
Dottie began working as a legal assistant in Miami and later in West Palm Beach at Akerman Senterfitt. Dottie became a pilot in the 80’s at her father and brother’s company called Pelican Aviation in Hollywood, FL and joined a flight club called the “Ladybugs”. Once again, she has earned her wings and is now an angel in the sky. Dottie piloted through her amazing life.
Dottie, a.k.a. Dottie gadget loved shopping. She had the biggest heart and went thru life with a smile giving others something to smile about. She was fierce but loving, hard but soft and strong but sensitive.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters Victoria Maloney and Linda Price, Life companion and friend Richard Halder, Grandchildren, Russell, Joey and Jared Dickerson, Jason and Justin Price, Great-grandchildren, Dean and Mykael Dickerson. Dottie will be fondly remembered by her blessed family and friends and she will “Forever be in our Hearts”.
