Carol Ann Johnsen

Carol Ann Johnsen, born in Pensacola, FL on February 4, 1958 to Dr. and Mrs. Philip Johnsen, died suddenly, February 21, 2017. Carol Ann attended schools in West Palm Beach and was a member of the Cardinal Newman Class of 1976. She received her RN from Palm Beach Junior College and Bachelor of Science from Palm Beach Atlantic University in Nursing. After working in area hospitals, she completed her Nurse Practitioner degree from Florida Atlantic University; following her love of continued education, she had recently decided to pursue her MD. In addition to her parents, Joan and Phil, Carol Ann is survived by her precious children; Ashley Eckes Lee, her husband Daniel, and their son Braden (as well as their expected daughter) to whom she is "Mimi"; Philip Thomas Eckes and Mary Kate Eckes. She was predeceased by her brother Rick. Her surviving family, especially her four sisters, are truly going to miss her love, thoughtfulness, caring spirit, and her great sense of humor; Kristen Munson and husband Robert, Kelly Ann Peterpaul and husband Tony, Kathy Podgurski and husband Walter, and Kimberly Bachman and husband Bill. Carol Ann has eighteen nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews with whom she has shared much laughter and wonderful memories. Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 4:00PM to 7:00PM on Friday (today), February 24, 2017 at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL, CREMATION & EVENT CENTER at HILLCREST, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33405. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at St. Juliana Catholic Church, 4500 S. Dixie Hwy, West Palm Beach, FL 33405.
