I think I first met Tony in 1995 on the first floor of SROC.  Billing was expanding and more leaders were needed and Tony was brought into the mix.  From the beginning, Tony was hard-working and competitive.  There were four main shifts covering 7 days by 24 hours, and Tony and Mike Houston were a new competitive leadership group.  Immediately Tony's personality and grandiose approach toward Billing were infectious and fun.  Billing was physical and had time-consuming hours and Tony's approach was welcomed.   

I was a colleague of Tony's for close to twenty years, conversations with him always brought a smile to my face, and we enjoyed the back-and-forth banter.  We both enjoyed talking about family and our children's successes.  During those years Billing moved from a tiny shop to a warehouse that could have held 36 indoor tennis courts, Tony was an integral part of that expansion.  When leadership asked Tony to do something, Tony followed through quickly.  Billing worked hard and when the time was right, played hard.  If there was David Letterman's top ten list of the best fun stories associated during that timeframe, Tony held multiple spots,  There were many times with Tony that the laughing was either uncontrollable or turned to tears.   

Even though I fell out of touch with I always considered Tony to be the type of friend who would show up and deliver if asked.
