Wolfgang Pfuhl, better known as Wolf or Wolfie, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024, at 85 years of age. He was born in Bonn, Germany, on April 18, 1939, the son of Helmut and Luise Pfuhl. He lost his Father in WWII, so his mother raised him on her own. He was educated as a professional Chemist in Isny Am Allgau, Germany, eventually moving to Canada in 1967, where he started his career. In his professional years, he was renowned in his area of expertise and the big brain behind amazing formulations still present in today’s auto manufacturing processes. He was a good person, intelligent and insistent and loved Paudash Lake, the outdoors, Fussball, the Leafs (he was sadly very loyal), German beer, amateur radio, and delicious food. Boy, he loved his food. Wolf is survived by his son Kevin (Samantha), daughter Michaela, son-in-law Kevin (Pollyann), and grandchildren Andrew (Ainsley), Justin (Frances), Kirsten, Sydney and Kassandra, and great-grandchildren Remy and Ferris. He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved daughter Heike, and dog Toothie.
A small family-only ceremony will be held near Paudash Lake on Friday October 18th.
