William “Bill” Simons, 61, started with the Toronto Fire Department in 1991. Any of you who knew him, knows how much he loved his children, grandchildren, family, brothers and sisters, both blood and chosen. A man who lived fast and hard, was fearless and wild, a tough yet kind hearted man, the type that would give you the shirt off of his back. The life that he had was cut way too short, but he didn’t waste any time living. From riding his Harley, saving lives, running into burning buildings and making people laugh with his twisted sense of humour, it’s hard to say goodbye.
Sparky, Wild Bill, Billy, Papa, Dad, we will love you forever, miss you always and we will see you later.
Brother Simons leaves behind his children; daughter Jen “Bennie” Simons, and son Jason “Boy” Simons, daughters-in-law; Ashley “Ma” Moon and Kailey “KP” Simons, granddaughters; Ava and Lyla Simons, brothers; Michael “Mikey” and Peter “Pete” Simons and sister; Dale Stead.
