It is with great shock and sadness that his family announces his sudden passing.
He leaves behind his wife of almost 50 years, Hem Prabha (nee Cheta), his daughter Kimberley (Dan) Cook and his son, Timothy. He also leaves his two granddaughters, Alexandra and Quinn. Also surviving him is his mother, Stella Pearl Hirst (nee Selleck), his sisters Lesley (late Gideon) Sheppard, Patricia (Don) Hirst and Mary (Robert) MacIntyre, his sisters-in-law Gyan (late Amichand) Setu and Sneh (Diwan) Singh, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and aunts and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Robert Hirst in 2006 and his sister, Roberta (Norm) Naglik in 2007.
The family will receive visitation on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 with a small prayer service at 3:00 at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home located at 4115 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough.
