WOW! It's been one year!
To my dear friend Tammy, from the moment I heard the news about your passing my heart has been aching and I haven't stopped thinking about the wonderful memories we shared.   There are so many things that remind me of you and I'm so saddened by the fact that we weren't as close as we once were but it gives me some comfort to know that no matter what we were always there for each other.  I will continue to keep the memories we shared close to my heart because you are UNFORGETTABLE. I will always love and continue to miss you.

A tribute to Tammy 
My name is Dianne, Tammy’s sister in law. 

I met Tammy in Jamaica when she took her first vacation with my mom. Even though country life was foreign to her, she adopted to it very quickly and enjoyed herself.

If my grandfather was alive today, he would have argued that he loved her the most.

My mom didn’t just have two daughters. When Tammy entered our lives, she became my sister.

Now let me be as loud and as clear as I can possibly be, Tammy was someone who I admired and respected. She knew how to give good gifts, her love and encouragement. She wasn’t selfish and pretentious. She was real. 

Over the years we have had many conversations, in person and on the phone and she knew how I felt about her. Tammy is gone, but she will never be forgotten. 

Rest in peace my sister.

It's with great sadness that just last night I heard that my dear loving friend Tammy/Nana has left us.  I had just sent her a message telling her how much I missed her and wished she was in Jamaica.  I guess her plans to go to Dominican had changed.  I loved this girl.  We were going to be besties as Tammy would say "forever".  I was her "ride or die" as I'm sure many others were as well.  She was so kind and helpful and caring and well just loved everyone and if someone was in need of anything Tammy would help in any way she could.  

I'll miss you my beautiful friend.  Rest in Peace miss Tammy Lynn (Nana) White.

My condolences to all her family and friends, Tammy was a gentle soul full of kindness and friendship, may she rest in peace.

When Tammy and I started going out more in 2008 there would be times when the party sucked or there wasn't a lot of people there. She would always she "We Are The Party" and insist that I go on the dance floor with her and she was right we were the party. 

Kinston, Jamaica 2012 we went to meet a friend of hers and while there we had to use the bathroom, only to find out they only had an outhouse. So we go in together, it's dark and it stinks and she turns on the flashlight on her phone and that's when we both decided to pee in the bushes behind the outhouse.

To know Tammy was to love Tammy she spoke her mind but also opened her heart to help the people loved and cared about.

Memories of our partying days, it was never a dull moment with Tammy, she knew how to have a good time and make the best of each moment. There were times we would go somewhere and either the music sucked or there wasn't a lot of people and she would always say "We are the party" and insist I go on the dance floor with her.

When Tammy and I started hanging out more in 2008, that's when I realized she was a hugger and I wasn't. I always felt uncomfortable hugging people but every time we went out she would hug me and then she would hug other people and then they would hug me. It got to the point where I had to embrace it and now I could sure use one of her hugs. Thanks Tammy for making me realize how good it feels to be hugged.

We share a special bond our daughter Nikki.
Always together never apart maybe in distance but never at heart ( our matching tattoos) .
It's the truth.  See when The Good Lord takes me home.
