I am saddened to recently learn of your Mom's passing.  I remember all of her and her family's  visits to the farm both in Saskatchewan and Manitoba and the games we used to play, her sparkling brown eyes and pretty smile! May her memory be eternal!

My Dear Sam and Sarah
Your Mom and I were joined at the heart. For many years we were the centre of each other's lives. We laughed and cried, we prayed and hoped and dreamed and planned.
We shared our love for The Beatles, the Monkees, our local Toronto bands, school dances, clothes, make up, food, (oh the food - Ukranian, British AND Dairy Queen!) and our dating years.
Our friendship flourished through our marriages, our children and our grandchildren.
One of the greatest blessings was that our husbands also became best friends and our children were always excited to be together, I can still hear the laughter (and some short lived arguing...."I don't want to watch that show!")
The last couple of years have been very special to me and I think your Mom too. We were busy, revisiting places of our youth and exploring new areas.
Our friendship will continue through memories and hopefully through you and your families.
We will be together once again I know. Until then I rejoice that she has been reunited with her Heavenly Father and with those who love her so much and were there to meet her.
Love you so much and I am so proud of you.

Sylvia was such a beautiful and kind person. She raised two strong and lovely daughters, and she treated those around her as if they were a part of her own family. Sylvia had an infectious smile, which her girls have luckily inherited. You will be greatly missed Sylvia! Rest in peace.

She was such a lovely person; Always happy, with a smile and kind word for everyone, no matter how she was feeling.  She was a treasure and a jewel in this world.
