I was especially touched by her children’s testimonials.  
I found the slideshow especially touching, and of course it brought back many good memories.

She was so loved and supported to her last breath,  you know she appreciated it and loved you all for it.

Thanking you for giving us the opportunity to share this moment with you. It was comforting to remember many good moments spent with my dear cousin Nicole many, many years ago. Life has led us on separate paths over time, but her memory remains in our hearts.  Please accept our deepest sympathy on your loss. I will always remember our wonderful trip to Prague and our Sunday visit to see Bohemian swing band at the Rex.  Nicole and I enjoyed music and conversation, and a wee glass of wine together.  I will miss uou my cousin, my friend, my sister.

John and I enjoyed many Christmas Eve's with Nicole and family at James, John's brother's,  home. We will always remember her for her gay laughter and kind and gentle ways. Our heartfelt condolences go out to her many family  members and friends. 

Nicole was a strong Conservative, always ready to roll up her sleeves and lend a hand.  Hosting board meetings, helping at CPC events, pounding the pavement during campaigns and everything in between...  so many fond memories.    My deepest condolences to Nicole's family.

To Nicole's family,

Nicole was a childhood neighbour. Being the oldest of her siblings, she was like an older sister to my sister and myself. We mostly played with her sister, Marcelle. Nicole had always a smile. She was so gentle and kind. She was an elegant lady. A great loss, I'm sure, for her family. Tu peux être fière de la vie que tu as vécue, chère Nicole. Tu ne laisses derrière toi que de magnifiques souvenirs !

Whether in a board meeting, on the street  or dining,  I can only say I was proud to be considered a friend by Nicole.
I loved glimpes into her life and memories, she posted on  Facebook.
She made a lovely  dessert but that was natural as she was always so  sweet.
And thats what is most memorable  about Nicole, her natual sweetness.
Thanks for letting us experiance  that part of you. 

My deepest condolences to Nicole's family.  My thoughts are with you all, and especially her grand-children, of whom she spoke often  and was so proud.
I will miss our political discussions, our chats on the finer points of the French language, and the mean martini she could mix!

My deepest condolences to Nicole's family. Nicole was a friend to my mom and myself. She was a joyful person to be around and one of the most kindest people you could meet!
She was greatly loved by her her family and friends and we will miss her so much!
I will never forget her especially her smile and kind words she spoke. Her memory will live on in our hearts and minds especially with her family. We have the hope that we will one day be reunited with our loved ones in heaven and I look forward to that day!


My dear friend Nicole, I will always remember all the days we spent together. We knew each other for such short years and wish it was longer.
What wonderful Thursdays where you shared with us stories of the past, of Canada and US, of your family and the many funny adventures of the grandkids. You opened your home to us for a Bible study and allowed us the joy of growing together in Christ. 
On Fridays, we went to the Dannie's and study Romans, I find it incredible that we always managed to end it at midnight. 
On Sundays, we went to church together where you always complimented the preachers for their exposition of the word. You called it the 'little church' which I always found funny as it's not so little but I know it was because it was dear to you. Then we'd continue the party, the same afternoon, with all these young people as you called us, we'd eat, talk and laugh. 
How much energy did you have? You were one of us. I thank you for the happy memories, for the things that you taught me. Raphael said the other day that you leave and disrupt our routine. My love goes to you Nicole and I will miss you. Wait for me with the Lord and we will worship together.

Nicole was my friend and neighbour for many years. She was very helpful and caring.  My son, Kevin, and I send our sincere and deepest condolences to her children:  Bryan and Julie, her grandchildren,  her sisters, and the rest of her family.  May she  rest in eternal peace.

What a wonderful amazing & caring friend, very young at heart. Nicole was always such a good listener, she didn't just listened, but she would try to come up with a solution. She was a very cultured & classy lady. She taught me so much about politics ( which I was never interested in before) But she opened my eyes to see what was going on in the world around me.        I especially will remember her love for music & I will miss going to the concerts with her. The one thing that stand out for me, was her love for her family & her grandchildren, such a proud Grandparent. It was amazing to see her grow in the Lord. I will dearly miss her but I will cherish the memories and our times together together. She will always be in my heart because in there she's still alive.

It is hard to realize that Nicole is no longer with us.  In many ways she was like a surrogate mother.  I felt I could talk to her about anything. She was always warm and kind and had a great attitude. She will be sorely missed.  My heart and prayers go out to the family.

Julie and family,

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. Although I did not know her well, it is very obvious what a lovely, kind person she was. That is evident through you Julie. She will live on through your kind, generous, enthusiastic and positive spirit. Much love to all of you.

First off, sincere condolences to the entire family.  Julie from the little that I have known and seen your mother, I can tell you how amazing she was. Her smile was contagious! I love watching her with ur boys going for walks... And her Lasagna was the best iv ever had.  May her beautiful Soul RIP. You have an angel watching over you and ur family Julie and Bryan! 

I am so honored to have been able to have known Ms. Twigg for even just the short couple of years that I did.  I loved joining in her many conversations, about politicians, and choirs. I loved watching her love for her family grow each and everyday. The memories I will cherish forever.XOXO 

I got to know Nicole better when we chatted together at Brenda and Isaac Ma's wedding. She was a fun loving, outgoing, people person! It's wonderful to know that she is with the Lord forever to serve and worship Him!

So very sorry to hear of Nicole’s passing. She was truly a lovely person and was always so friendly. My sincerest condolences to her family. 

Nicole attended my mother’s church (Faith Baptist). Every time I visited to preach, she would come up and give me kind words of encouragement and comment on what I had spoken about. She will be greatly missed. Sincere condolences from my mother, Beverley and myself.

I was Nicole's colleague at Canada Life for 3 years.  We would occasionally have a drink together after work and attended some French language events at Alliance Française.  She was a classy lady and just a really lovely person.  I am so sad to learn of her passing.  To her family, friends and to everyone who was fortunate enough, like me, to have known her, please accept my condolences.  

I worked with Nicole for 3 years at Canada Life. She helped train me, as one of the few other bilingual members of our team. She was sweet and caring and funny. She'd bring in baked goods sometimes, and was sort of a maternal figure to us 20-somethings working on the team.  I admired how she was able to keep her cool working in our customer service roles. She was a great lady. She always spoke about her son Bryan with pride. I'm sorry for your loss.
