Nellie Mary Griffis

Griffis, Nellie Mary (Aldridge) passed away peacefully Monday Nov.6 2023 at the age of 80 after a lengthy illness at The Deep River District Hospital in Deep River Northern Ontario, where she received the very best care possible from the staff there. She was born in West Hill Ontario. Eldest Daughter of the Late James and Nellie Aldridge. Siblings: William (Deceased) (Dorothy), Charlie (Marie), James (Deceased) (Patricia), Sidney (Susan), Edith (Albert), Michael (Cathy), Sherry . Awesome Mom to Debbie (Doug), Margaret, William (Tammy) Roberta (Deceased) (Robert) Stephen (Mary) Teresa (Deceased) Thomas (Jaqueline) Lisa (Deceased), Nanny to 17 Grandchildren, Great Nanny to 20 Great Grandchildren, Aunt & Great Aunt to many. She had a rough life and been through so much but still did the best job she could as a single Mom of eight. People loved her and she has a lot of dear friends especially her best friend Sandra Turner..Mom will be greatly missed I know I miss her so much already. There will be a visitation at Giffen-Mack 4115 Lawrence Ave. East West Hill Monday Nov.20/2023 at 1-3 and same day between 6-8 the service will be held at Giffen-Mack Tuesday Nov.21 at 11am. And Committal service to follow at St Margaret in the Pine Cemetery ...
