Passed away peacefully into the arms of His Saviour Jesus on Jan 21, 2019 at Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket at the age of 92. Dearly loved husband of Margaret and loving father of Sharon Teetzel. Son of Norman and May Johnston, predeceased by his brother Stanley and his sisters Audree Tyler and Joan Macdonald. Retired employee of IBM Canada (36 years).
He will be fondly remembered by family and friends for his love of gardening, photography, his love of people, and the many costumes he would wear to entertain others at the Pinetree Seniors Centre.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday February 9, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East in Scarborough.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or Margaret Behan Hospice in Newmarket.
