Gregory John Clapperton the son of Anne and Jack Clapperton suddenly passed away on May 19th 2020. Born on June 21st, 1944 in the cold, windy city of Winnipeg. At the young age of sixteen him and his parents moved to Toronto for better opportunities, which then later lead him to becoming a salesman, which he very much enjoyed from all the chances he got to travel and socialize. Greg's passions included fishing, reading and life at the cottage, where he would spend most of his summers with his family and friends. Greg always knew how to light up a room with his smile, make people laugh and always knew how to have a good time due to his astounding personality and sense of humor, not only that but he was a very intelligent, handsome and sharp dressed man, which really showed his connection to sales. Unfortunately, in the year 2012 he suffered from a major stroke leaving him mobile but unable to speak, even after going through all that he still always managed to appreciate the life he had, and made the best of it in a long term care facility with his Reese Peanut butter cups in one hand and a book in the other. His beautiful smile and strong personality will be extremely missed by his loving wife of 49 years, Rita Clapperton, his cherishing, loving daughter Heather Clapperton and his two beautiful granddaughters Hailey and Chloe Clapperton whom he loved to spend every possible moment with, not only will he be missed by his family but also by his close friends and everyone who had the opportunity to meet him. Greg will always and forever be held in our hearts.
