Cecelia Louisa Borthwick

Passed on Thursday August 25, 2022 at Centenary Hospital in her 94th year. Predeceased by her adoring husband of 59 years James Borthwick. Loving mother to Michael and his fiancé Adina Charlton and to the late Christine Borthwick.

Devoted “Nanny" to her grandchildren Caitlin & Emmerson.

Dear sister to Dorothy Jones and Bruce Coulter and to her predeceased brothers George,

Donald and Howard Coulter. Aunt Ceil will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

Cecelia was known as a talented painter with several showings of her work at Cedar Ridge Art Gallery,

a skilled quilter with many of her creations shared among the family and a strong advocate for the developmentally disabled at facilities in Orillia, Gravenhurst and Newmarket, Ontario

Please join the family on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 6 pm to 9 pm at Giffen-Mack “Scarborough” Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East, West Hill for Visitation. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, September 1st at 11 am at St. Martin de Porres Parrish, 4179 Lawrence Avenue East, West Hill.
