
Mandy,

I’m sorry I could not be here today.  Mandy, yours is a life gone too soon I was in shock when I received the news.  As I think back one of the great adventures of my childhood was when we loaded up and drove our family to Sudbury for a visit, I can remember thinking how far away it was.  Looking back on it now, that was an adventure you, Nicole, Aunt Jacky and Uncle Conrad took a lot more than we ever did.  It is difficult to believe that you are gone, we always think, there is always next time… next time we’re in town… next time I’m back… next time… we always count on next time until it is not there anymore.  
I know the scripture says that “there is a time for mourning and a time for dancing…” however this seems like more than a time, this is a season.  In just the last few years we lost Granny, my father Jim, Mat and Jen’s mom Joanne, and now Mandy.  The psalms remind us that “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”  And so we look to the Lord who is close at hand. We lean on His strength because ours will fail, and we remember the blessings we have and let’s not wait until next time.  This is a sad time yes, and this is a time to mourn, but also remember to dance and celebrate. Remember the blessings it has been to have Mandy in our lives, and continue to tell her story to Axtun, Athan, Ariella, and others. 
The Lord Jesus says “blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted.” In times like this it is difficult to see the blessing as we mourn, however when we stop and look around and see how much someone like Mandy mattered not only to us but to everyone else here. I believe that we find a mysterious comfort in the midst of the tears.  As we trust her spirit to the Lord we can rest that He will do right.  Let us draw near to the Lord in this time and experience His comfort.

We are saddened beyond words at the loss of your lovely daughter.  I can still remember that sweet little thing roaring around the cottage with my two kids and Nicole.  My heart goes out to you, Jackie and your family and as always you are and always be so near and dear to my heart.  Mandy has gone to be with her Dad and will be missed terribly by everyone she left behind. I remember Amanda from the CN Tower, she was always a great girl to talk to and share laughs with. My condolences go out to her family, she will be missed.

I met Amanda at Hydro One, but it felt like I knew her forever. She was someone you could always count on and made any situation better. I’ll miss our girls weekends, “Caesar time” and so much more.

I met Amanda while she was on vacation here in Jamaica and she had the most beautiful heart and a smile and laugh that would melt your heart. She was kind and funny and I knew we  would be very good friends which we were even after she left. We would message each other occasionally to check up on each other I didn’t k ow I would lose her so soon. RIP AMANDA YOU WILL BE MISSED !!! I love you. 

There are so many things in life we don't understand.... The best we can do is to hope, to believe, to care and remember.  My thoughts, prayers, and condolences to Amanda's family and friends.  From first meeting her at Hydro One to our yearly girls weekend at her cottage, our friendship has remained and flourished. I will cherish my memories of Amanda always and forever.

I can still hear her voice as she was making a sarcastic remark.

I met Amanda at Hydro 5 years ago in Barrie but our friemdship flourished when we both crossed paths again in Markham. We have shared so many stories, laughs and tears over one of our many dinner dates.  Amanda and I were just recently discussing Spring and when she might be coming up to Sudbury to visit with me. I cant believe she is gone. She was an exceptional human being, funny, kind, compationate and I was honoured to call her my friend. 

I was lucky enough to meet you working at wonderland, from the first time we met we instantly became friends. We went through  a lot of ups and downs yet through it all you always remained by my side and always stood by me.  I will always remember clubbing, our drive by’s, camping, sleep overs, your green duster, your cavalier, my cottage, our trips to shop in buffalo, mama Mia, dinner, china town for spring rolls at 2:30am, Santa Clause parade, our rides up the cn tower, your win at the casino, my baby shower you planned with my mom and the list could go on..... one thing I remember the most is when I called you to tell you I was going into labour and as soon as work was done you rushed to the hospital to wait until my baby was born and even waited until the wee hours of the morning for them to move me to my room, all because that’s who you were always putting others first. I have missed you and have been sad our paths went separate ways over the years. You will forever be in my heart and I will continue to remember our friendship always.  

Amanda was a ray of sunshine. Our ongoing inside joke was that we would buy lingerie at Value Village and we would always say that we were shopping at VV boutique. I can’t believe she’s gone. You will be missed Amanda. So much. 

I had the pleasure of working with Amanda for 3 years. I’m going to miss so much about her. She made our group of coworkers into a true work family. She was our glue. 
Amanda and I spent all of our breaks and lunches together. I’ll forever miss our Costco lunches, circling for all the best samples. 
Amanda has done so much for me as a friend in the short time I was lucky enough to know her. She was there for me both, in and out of work. I’m so grateful she was able to meet my newborn and I’ll forever cherish our friendship. 

My memory is long ago Amanda and Nicole coming to my house in Rochester. N Y and they were two little angels. I also reconnected with these two beautiful people on face book and knew Amanda was a beautiful person just by her posts. I wish we had lots more time together. My loss. My prayers to Nicole, Aunt Jackie, Troy and Kimmy and the rest of the family.
