Patricia Ann Hess, 80, passed away December 23, 2024. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Please check back for future details.
Patricia was born December 25, 1943 in Greenfield, IA to Edwin and Mildred (Schultz) Johnston. In her early years she worked at Golden Rule and Casey’s in Greenfield and Maurices. She loved stained glass and belonging to Red Hats, Corvette Club, and Tri Five Club.
Patricia is survived by her husband, John, of 61 years; children, Melissa (Johnathan) Ruchti and Matthew (Tami) Hess; grandchildren, Marie (Michael) Warner, Miranda Abbenhaus, Austin (Madison) Hess, Mandy (Megan) Conner and Justin Hess; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Butch (Gina) Pickrell, Ginger (Dale) Zech, Ellen (Gary) Cochrane and John (Sheila) Pickrell; sister-in-law, June Johnston; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ronald Johnston.
