Not just the memories of junior high and high school, but my favorite memory was Erin and I going into the back of my parents house one day and getting small rocks and putting them into beer cans and selling them for .25 on a hot summer day. If I can recall right, I think we would have been better off selling lemonade. You will be missed Erin.

Erin always made you feel special, no matter how seemingly trivial the interaction. This goes back to our years in high school, when we first met. Always a light shining on all those she cares about.

Little did we expect to live in the same neighborhood later and raise our kids together. Erin was an inspirational leader in church groups, my professional circles, and as a friend.  We will miss her smile and selfless  energy!

To the family of Erin,  I do remember meeting Erin for work at Uncle William Crawford Business from time to time. We would talk and get to know each other and she was such a  nice person. To Chris, the kids, and the entire family...our hearts break for you at this time. Erin was one of the kindest and most thoughtful people that we have had the pleasure of getting to know. Erin was always there for anything that was asked of her and we grew to know we could count on her no matter what. Her love for her family was nothing but apparent and her mark on our family is forever in place. We have no words that can express our sympathy effectively but do want you to know that we are thinking of you and sending our love at this very difficult time.



We were so fortunate to meet Erin and her family at my parents Fourth of July picnic in Clear Lake.  We were so saddened to hear of her passing. You have our deepest sympathy.

Erin was just like her Mama, always had a smile on her face and joy in her heart.  Erin was a person that would do anything for anybody, she will be greatly missed.  To her family, I am so sorry for your loss, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Erin was always a source of positivity every time I saw her. I loved working with her as she continually knocked down doors and obstacles in her triathlon training. Always the optimist, never taking herself too seriously but taking very seriously her dedication to her loved ones. May her memory be a blessing   

Beloved Barfles family, I am so sorry for the loss of Erin. I remember meeting Ellie and your family back in 6th grade. You welcomed me into your beautiful home with kindness and love. I remember staying the night at your home and going to church. The love that Erin had for Jesus is something I will always remember.  Ever since the beginning of meeting your family, I remember how compassionate Erin was so devoted to her children which I could see everytime I visited your home. I admire how you opened your heart to adopt two children and hosting many hockey players. I remember Erin letting Ellie and I make cookies late at night in the kitchen. Erin will be greatly missed by many. My condolences to your family and close friends.
