He was preceded in death by; older brother Rey Hermandy (Doodie), mother Priscilla, and twin brother Rey Hezel (Yeye).
A visitation will occur on Monday, October 28, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Filipino Community United Presbyterian Church (FCUPC), 639 N. Soldano Avenue, Azusa, CA 91702. A celebration of his life will shortly follow at 6:00 PM. Pastor Rollie Baybay will officiate.
During the visitation, family and friends may share their fond memories and expressions of sympathy, in writing. The written remembrance and notes will be brought forward the altar; as we all pay our final respects at the culmination of the celebration of life.
Harold will be laid to rest at the Riverside National Cemetery, a cemetery dedicated to the internment of United States military personnel. Service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM (approximate duration) at Staging Area Section 4.
Harold will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He was a devoted father; a funny and loving brother; a food lover; a man of unsettling interests; passionate about his human resources and paralegal profession; a thriving Master’s student; a dedicated family uber; and a friendly and helpful stranger. We will all remember the good, the bad, the weak, the strong, the foolish, the wise – all these ways and more about him. He fell down many times; but got up – by the grace of God.
In the course of Harold’s earthly journey and on the day God called him home…. we will all find comfort and peace on the words of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ “… I will give you rest”. [Matthew 11: 28]
