Ernesto is survived by his wife, Sofia Lopez. He also left behind his step-children Suzanna, Erica, Gabriel and Abraham, his mother Maria, his sister Nubia, his grandchildren Veyda, Presley, Phoenix, Juan Manuel, his niece Kayleen and nephews Joseph and Michael.

Visitation service for Ernesto will be Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel,2333 West Merced Ave, West Covina, CA 91790. Following the visitation will be a memorial reception at the Family Residence, 1511 Edanruth Ave, La Puente, CA 91746.
