Charlotte R. Pipp (nee Carroll). Born to Eternal Life October 26, 2012 age 92 years. Beloved wife of the late William Thomas Pipp. Loving mother of Carol Rudnick (Kenneth) of Menomonee Falls, Robert Pipp (Marilyn) of Delafield, John Pipp of Jersey City, New Jersey, Stanley Pipp (Sharon) of Menomonee Falls, Patricia Haffner (Richard) of Lincolnshire, Illinois and William Pipp (Shari) of Delafield. Dear grandmother of Patrick, Robert, Amber, Brandon, Angela, Katie, Andrew, Dylan, Andrew and Joseph. Dear great grandmother of Riley and Henry. Fond sister of Thomas Carroll of Inglewood, California. Also survived by nieces, nephews and other dear relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter Mindy Pipp, her sister Betty Coady of Northridge California, and brothers Jack Carroll of Garden Grove, California and Ted Carroll of California, killed in WW II.
Charlotte worked at the Good Year plant in Los Angeles, California during WWII working on fuel tanks for B-24 planes. After her marriage to William following the war, Charlotte moved to West Milwaukee, Wisconsin to raise her family with William. She later worked as an executive secretary for the Harnishfager Corporation and Wisconsin Motors in Milwaukee. Later in life, she worked as a nursing aide in a nursing home and also cared for the elderly in their homes through an organization serving the elderly, Interfaith. Charlotte also did volunteer work at the Veteran’s Administration at Woods Hospital in West Milwaukee and was an election poll worker in West Allis.
Visitation Wednesday, October 31, 2012, 9:30-11 AM at Holy Assumption Catholic Church, 7109 W. Orchard St., West Allis, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
