Robert Merced Alvarado, age 33, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville. Robert was born December 1, 1988 to Isa Alvarado and Rosalinda Medrano in Weslaco.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother and step-father: Rosalinda M and Lionel Flores; his daughter, Jasmine P. Alvarado; maternal grandparents: Rodrigo and Gloria Medrano; paternal grandmother, Otila Salazar and step-paternal grandmother: Ysabel Loya. He will also be greatly missed brothers: Richard M. Medrano and Aaron S. Flores, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Robert was a great dad who enjoyed spending time with his daughter, liked camping and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
A visitation for Robert will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A chapel service will occur Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM, followed by the interment at 1:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, Texas 78596.
