Erik Garcia, 43, of Elsa, Texas left to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. Erik was born on June 17,1979 in McAllen, Texas to Jose Luis and Gloria Garcia.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Lorena Ochoa-Garcia; their twin sons: Michael and Matthew Garcia; parents: Jose Luis and Gloria Garcia; siblings: Izaak Garcia, Mark Garcia and Melissa Moralez.
Erik loved his boys and his family with all his heart. He enjoyed watching the sunset at the beach, watching football, listening to music and BBQ. Erik was an avid Houston Texans fan and loved law enforcement. He will be forever loved and greatly missed.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 3 pm to midnight with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 pm, Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
