Judy Ann Sonnier

She was of Catholic faith and a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. She worked for the Nursery of Natural Gardens and she loved her yard and flowers almost as much as her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her sons, Eddie Paul Sonnier and wife Lisa of Carlyss; Eric James Sonnier and wife Bridgette of Bell City; brother, Harry Duprie and wife Kathy of Lake Arthur; sisters, Rose Schlesinger and husband Fred of Lake Arthur; Carey Fontenot and husband John of TX; Linda Hanks and husband David of Lake Arthur; grandchildren, Laney, Hayden, Sadie, Alyssa "Aly Kat" and Noah Paul Sonnier. She is preceded in death by her husband of forty years, Lester Paul Sonnier; parents, Harry and Eula Duprie; brother, Harold Duprie.

Her funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lacassine. Visitation will be Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. and resume Monday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh.
