Judy Ann Robinson

Judy Ann Jones Robinson graciously shared her heart of gold, warmth and inner light throughout her earthly life. On September 20, 2023, at age 77, she was called to a new life of heavenly light and everlasting peace.

Judy was a devoted Catholic, faithfully living by the example and teachings of Jesus and His Divine Mercy. She was a member of Our Lady of Seven Dolors in Welsh, LA.

Friendly and personable, Judy was endlessly curious about and engaged in the lives of others. She joyfully celebrated and shared the victories of her friends and family, and eagerly offered support during life’s challenges.

A compassionate caregiver, Judy provided childcare for several years to many children and families in Welsh.

Judy and her husband Donald would celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on November 23, 2023. They spent many happy years surrounded by family. They loved spending time in nature at their camp in Toledo Bend.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Lou Robinson; her sister Mary Sonnier and husband Steve; her two children, Ralph Anthony Robinson and his partner Tammy Gatte and Donald Rhett Robinson; two grandchildren, Justin Rhett Robinson and his wife Elizabeth Chamberlain and Brandi Rachelle Lognion and her husband Mason; and three great-grandchildren, Liam Joseph Lognion, Lilah Jean Lognion and Zephyr Chamberlain Robinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Blanchard Jones, Sr. and Bernadette Dill Jones; and her brother, Thomas Blanchard Jones, Jr.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Cremation was entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh.
