Beloved husband, father , grandfather, brother, and uncle was called home to be with Jesus March 24, 2018. Ed was 65. He was born January 29, 1953 at home on the family farm to Claby and Agnes Morine Faul Broussard in Welsh, Louisiana. He graduated high school in 1970.
Ed was friendly, outgoing, athletic, popular, and had a unique, quick witted sense of humor. He spoke often of his love for his family and great friends both old and new.
Ed was a process tech. for Westlake Group, formally Axall North. He lived in Sulphur most of his life although his small town life in Welsh always held a special place in his heart.
Those left behind to cherish his memories are his wife of 36 years, Tamara “Tami” Marcantel Faul; children, Melanie R. Brady (Greg), S. Matthew Real (Peggy), Emily K. Faul, and Carly Jane Faul; grandchildren, Abigail and Grant Brady, Gabriel and Palynn Real, Eli and Jaxon Armer and Eden Owens. Ed was the youngest of five children. He is survived by his brother, Leroy Faul and Mary of Welsh, his sister, Lucy Faul Arceneaux of Baton Rouge, and sister, Thelma Faul Manuel and husband, Roy of Elton, and a host of wonderful nieces and nephews and their families.
Ed was preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Abram Logion parents, an infant brother, step father, Raymond Broussard, and brother-in-law, Charles Arceneaux, Sr.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh. Reverend Clayton Fontenot will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Welsh. Visitation will be held 5-9 p.m. Monday with a Rosary at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume 11 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
