Visitation will commence on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Hixson Funeral Home in Welsh from 4:00PM until 9:00PM. The Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Thursday at 8:00AM until Christian Service Time at 10:00AM in the Hixson Chapel. Rev. Walter Parker, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Welsh.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Eugene Demarest of Welsh; sons; Cody Eugene Demarest and Michael Demarest both of Welsh; daughter, Nicole Demarest Roy and husband Joe of Welsh; grandson, Jackson Everette Roy of Welsh; mother-In-Law; Hazel Demarest of Welsh; brothers, Don and Vicky Troutman of Deridder; Leonard and Martha Troutman of Roanoke; Harold Troutman of Lumberton, TX; David and Annette Troutman of Welsh and Carl Troutman of Roanoke; sisters, Frances and Edward McCarty of Houma; Mary Kay and James Epperly of LaPlace; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frances Troutman & Irma McMillin Troutman; brothers, Roy and Kenneth Troutman; father-In-law, George Demarest.
