Virginia Lee Lynch, 79, of Katy, Texas, passed away on March 18, 2017. She was born in Galveston, Texas on July 15, 1937 to Lee and Annie Panattoni. She was married to Dean S. Lynch for 54 years. Virginia had a career in teaching and taught for the state of Texas for multiple school districts. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was very active in the church, some of the callings that she held included Ward Relief Society President, Stake Relief Society President as well as counselor in the Young Women’s Presidency. She also was a Sunday School Teacher and played the organ.
She was preceded in death by parents, Lee and Annie Panattoni; sister, Mary Ann Dorich.
She is survived by husband, Dean S. Lynch; sons, Stan Lynch and wife Jhojie, Barry Lynch and wife Debbie; grandchildren, Stephanie Dorsey and husband Josh, Jennifer Lynch, Hayley Lynch, Emma Lynch, Elizabeth Lynch; great-grandson, Landon Dorsey.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598 with interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery. Reception to follow at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4202 Yellowstone Drive, Pasadena, TX 77504.
