Raymond Paul Waggy, age 91, of Dickinson, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024. He was born in Harrisonburg, Virgina on November 21, 1932, to William Raymond and Eula Waggy. He was married to Ethel for 65 years. Raymond had a career in the U.S. Army and Civil Service. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and had a passion for Jesus and his family. He loved a good game of pinochle and jigsaw puzzles.
Raymond was preceded in death by Ethel, wife of 65 years, sisters; Maxine, Anne, and June, brothers; Tim and Dee.
He is survived by sisters; Janet, Connie, Vetta (Ray), Donna (Bari), Debra, Nancy (Gale), and Linda, brothers; Marlyn (Judy) and Keith (Fern), Don, children; Jana (David), Jeff (Rose), Tim (Diane), Trish (Steve), Phil (Cathy), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Cameron Rutter, Alex Rutter, Josh Garcia, Ryan Waggy, Eric Freibott, and Jeff Freibott. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Tom Sovulewski, Shannon Lee, and George Cherepes.
