Mary "Pat" Welch

Mary (Pat) Welch, age77 of Pasadena, Texas went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, August 12, 2013. Mary was born November 26, 1935 in Gideon Missouri. Mary fought courageous battles with various illnesses and did so with dignity.

She married Norman Welch in 1967.

Mary worked at the Cookie Jar Bakery for many years. She enjoyed her coffee and visiting with all her family and great neighbors of 34 years. Her greatest joy was taking care of her granddaughter Madison and visiting with her great granddaughter Ashley.

She is preceded in death by her parents George and Elise Smith, husband Norman Welch, brothers: Arby (Bud) Smith, John (Jabo) Smith, William (Jiggs) Smith and sister Ada French.

Mary is survived by her children and their families: Eddie Welch and wife Carol and Daughter Madison, Carolyn Sprouse, Linda Boice and husband John, Larry Welch and wife Stevie, Judy (Spinnie) Gates and husband Rick, Leroy Welch, Patricia Harwell and husband Mike, grand children: Madison Welch, Tommy Edinburgh, Rena Lake, Kristi Maywood, Larry Ray Welch, Lonna Welch, Terry Dean Welch, Gary Wayne Lambert, Gerimy Lambert, Kerry Dale Yates, Edward Welch, Paul Welch, Leroy Norman Welch, Leane Parrish, Michael Harwell Jr.,and Nicole Harwell. She is also survived by sister-in -law Betty Smith, numerous great- grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, as well as many great friends and neighbors.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15 from 6-8 pm at Forest Park East. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16 at 12:30. Interment n to follow
