Mrs. Mary Jean Birdwell passed from this life at the age of 78 on Saturday evening, July 21, 2012 in Bayview, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband John Harvey Birdwell. Survivors include her son Steven Birdwell and wife Debbie, daughter Susan Demetrios and husband Mike, son David Birdwell and daughter Mary Gearhart and husband Dave, 10 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
Mary was born on May 6, 1934 in Luton, Bedfordshire, England to Sydney and Madge Stubbs. She enjoyed her afternoon cup of tea with her son Steven and wife Debbie. She also enjoyed chatting with her friends in England and playing her games. Mary will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 11:00 am with a graveside service to begin at 12:30 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy Webster, Tx. 77598. Interment to follow.
