Heaven has gained a very special Angel. Kascius “KC” Marcellus Cartwright 32 of Deer Park, Texas left his earthly body on Monday February 25th, 2019 and joined our Lord and Savior in Heaven. Kascius was taken from us unexpectedly and way too soon, but we can rest assured that he is rejoicing with a Choir of Angels. Kascius was born on July 14, 1986 to Shelia LeBeauf. He attended elementary, middle and high school in LaPorte, Texas. After graduating from LaPorte High School in 2008 Kascius remained active in his community by attending LaPorte SPORT and participating in Special Olympics with LaPorte SPORT as well as being part of the Deer Park Fireballs. He joined Next Step Transition Center in 2015 and became involved in other activities within the transition community.
Kascius made a big move in 2017 when he moved in with two roommates and embarked on semi-independent living. Kascius loved music and enjoyed singing, dancing and playing music on his IPAD. He was very active with his Next Step group; he volunteered at the Houston Food Bank, HEB, Kroger and Value Dollar. He performed alongside his peers with The River Theater Program and enjoyed going out with friends on Friday nights. Kascius had a charming personality and his smile was contagious. He started every day with a bright smile and displayed his passion for life through his joyful attitude. He continuously showed a genuine respect for others and his impeccable manners never went unnoticed. He greeted everyone with a handshake and an introduction that would leave anyone and everyone feeling welcomed. He absolutely loved movies and dressing up like super heroes at Halloween. Kascius was also a sock fanatic. He had many pairs of character socks and loved showing them off.
Kascius is survived by his mother, Shelia LeBeauf of LaPorte, Texas, his Sister, Nedra Samone Johnson and Brother, Darrell Lee LeBeauf both of Houston, Texas; his nephew D’Von Lee LeBeauf of LaPorte, Texas; one Uncle Carl Wayne LeBeauf & Charlene of Newport News, Va., two Aunts Cathy LeBeauf; Paulette Joseph & James both of Baton Rouge, La; and a host of cousins and great cousins who will always love him.
He is preceded in death by his Great-grandfather Calvin Jones, Great-grandmother Genevia Celestine Clark, Grandfather Wilbert LeBeauf Sr, Grandmother Audrey Jones, Great Aunt Ida Marie Allen, Uncle Wilbert LeBeauf Jr.
