Joe was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Rosa Hernandez.
Joe built his life and 30+ year career around swimming pools and the journey that took him on when he started it at 19 years old. From pool maintenance to building and remodeling - it's what he had an undeniable knowledge, love and passion for. Joe loved to read and learn as much as he loved to spread his wisdom. He also cherished his time with family and friends, being in the sun and by the water. He loved live music, outdoor festivals, and hosting barbecues for his loved ones and spent his free time watching various sports games live and on TV. He was always there to help relatives and friends with household projects, coached different sports or was an all around dependable man. Joe was a loving son, father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone.
Joe is survived by his children, Olivia (Luis) Hernandez, Michelle (Joe) Trevino, Jennifer (John) Sauceda, Jason (Jenny) Juarez, Jonathan (Cindy) Sanchez, parents Frank and Lupe Hernandez, brother Frank (Kitty) Hernandez Jr., and sisters Madeline (Jr.) Martinez, Elisa (Manuel) Soto.
He was a beloved grandfather to fifteen grandchildren whom he loved spending time with while giving an earful of guidance: Erik Andres Aguilar, Jason Juarez, Jr., Jasmine Elise Sanchez, Mia Renee Juarez, Jacob Christopher Juarez, Jonathan Matthew Sanchez Jr., Ethan Luis Aguilar, Andrew Fernando Sauceda, Jayda Rose Juarez, Emma Marie Sanchez, Jaren Anthony Juarez, Sofia Grace Hernandez, Joaquin Lee Juarez, Brandon Alexander Sauceda, and Aiden Michael Juarez.
Joe celebrated everyday of his life in music, art, friendships and most of all, unconditional love. He now smiles down on us through song and joy. He was the brightest spirit on earth, and now shines as the brightest star in the sky with his beloved, Rose.
