John Selden (Bud ) Osborne , wonderful husband, father and friend went home to be with the lord and savior on November 10 , 2012 . Bud was born in Gilmer , Texas on March 7, 1928. The family moved to Pasadena , Texas where he went to school and graduated from Pasadena High. After graduation , Bud joined the U.S. Air Force where he served his country. Bud went on to continue his education at the University of Texas in Austin. While at the University he started his career at a small car lot on Lamar Street. His career had started in the automobile business. After college, he moved back to Pasadena where he worked at several dealerships selling used cars.
In 1961 he opened Osborne-Apple Ford and a few years later he open Pasadena Dodge. In 1965 , he married the love of his life, Nina. After they married and had a son Richard, Bud moved his family to Friendswood to start their new life. Bud loved playing golf almost everyday. He and some of his buddies decided to build Sun Meadows Golf Course in Friendswood.
Living in Friendswood he watched not only his son play little league sports but went to all the games that were being played. He became close to many young kids in town, and loved all of them.
Preceded in death by his parents Dr. Clarence and Edna Osborne and son Bill Osborne. Survivors include loving wife Nina , sons Richard Osborne, John Osborne and daughter Ann Casey. Grandchildren, Willie Osborne , Angela and husband Tim Mcelhinney and Sean Casey. Two great grandchildren and many loving cousins and friends .
Viewing will be at Forest Park East on Tuesday November 13, 2012 from 6-8 pm.
Services will be at Forest Park East on Wednesday November 14 , 2012 at 10 am.
Pallbearers , Felix Meyer, Keith Draehn ,Rick Harville, Noe Estrada , Scott Manchaca , Al Fox and Alton Todd.
Nina and Richard would like to thank Dr. Robert Haden for everything he did for loving husband and dad.
