Jeff was born to Howard and Ludie Randall of Tupelo, MS on May 27, 1932. Jeff enlisted in the U.S. Army on August 1, 1951 where he developed his passion for truck driving. He honorably discharged as Sergeant J. Randall on October 28, 1959.
During Jeff’s enlistment, he met and married his wife of 68 years, Evelyn Colleen Smith and had three children, Donna, Larry and Pamela. Jeff continued to drive trucks throughout his career, from heavy hauling to chemical hauling. There was nothing that Jeff was not willing to haul. Jeff received numerous safety awards and recognitions during his career.
Jeff is proceeded in death by his parents, Howard and Ludie Randall, 3 brothers: George, Billy and Fred, 3 sisters: Ida May, Jeanette and Bette, his grandson Trevor Randall and granddaughter Kaitlin Minkel.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Evelyn, his sister, Helen Padgett, his 3 children: Donna and her husband Randall Frenier, Larry Randall and his wife Kelly, and Pamela and her husband Tom Minkel, 6 grandchildren: Angela Steck and her fiancé Robert Crowder, Jennifer and her husband John Key, Leah and her husband Colin Hanson, Joseph Minkel and his fiancé Christine Gadbois, Nolan Randall and Casey Minkel, 6 great-grandchildren: Jalen DeLuna, Keaton Hanlon and his wife Hannah, Diamond Harrison, Cullin Harrison, Corey Harrison and Thatcher Hanson.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Tunnels to Towers organization or any veteran affiliation of choosing, in Jeff’s name.
