She held many office and clerical positions but was best known for working in the office of Dr. Dave Kaminsky in Denver Harbor.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years and best friend “Buddy”, her mother and father, baby brother, Tommy (1930), her son, Joel Robert Bowen (1992), sisters-in-law Lorena and Pauline.
She is survived by daughters, Jana Bowen and Christina Olson, grandson, Ian Darrell Bowen, sister, Anita and husband Kenneth Rains, nieces and nephews, “adopted daughter” Candy Rutledge and their families.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 1:30 am to 3:30 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. Funeral Service immediately following at 3:30 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment at Forest Park East Cemetery.
