She was born in Houston, Texas on January 21, 1930 to Robert Carlysle and Myrtle Beverly (Cate) Bond. She was married to William Marlin “Bill” Gulledge, Jr. for 48 years and together had three sons.
Beverly worked for her family’s company in the bottle water business of Houston Distilled Water Company which produced Silver Seal distilled water; she also cared for her home and family while raising her three sons. She was a member of the Texas Grand Assembly International Order of the Rainbow for Girls and the Scottish Brigade at Stephen F. Austin High School from 1947 to 1948. Beverly had a passion for “Bluewater” Open Ocean sailing, flying single engine aircrafts, cooking, and international travel
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband W.M. “Bill” Gulledge Jr., and one brother Victor Bernard Bond, Sr.
Survivors include Beverly’s three sons William M. Gulledge III; Robert Carlysle (Diana Sharon) Gulledge, Sr., and Jedd Raynard (Ann Smith) Gulledge; six grandchildren Tami Gulledge, Tiffany (Jeff) Koza , Carlysle (Callie) Gulledge, Jessica (Jared) Pitts, Valerie (Cody) Smith, Michelle (Peter) Maetzold; and 14 great grandchildren Haley, Garett, Grayson, Jake, Elizabeth, Rob, Ava, Stella, Will, Peyton, Beckett, Natalie, Josephine and baby boy Smith due in June 2022; one niece Beverly Hollander and one nephew Victor Bond, Jr.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Celebrant Mike Carlen officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Park East Cemetery.
