Wendy was born in Duluth, Minnesota on April 4th, 1956 to Jeanette and Ronald Orme. Wendy was a Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Sister, Co-worker, Boss, Friend and more to so many people. She lived and loved with every ounce of her being, touching so many lives in the process.
Wendy was known for her tenacity, professionalism, competence, stubbornness, her commitment to finding joy in all things, and her playful sense of humor, which contributed to her successful career as a government Contracting Officer for multiple government agencies to include being a project manager for the NAC (Nebraska Avenue Complex). This position allowed her to work on some of the largest contracts in Washington, D.C. Her hobbies included cooking, fine dining (Chef Huang’s), dancing, traveling, wineries, collecting art (and cats), shopping, shoes, sitting outside on the deck with a glass of wine, watching movies, making “herself” laugh and SINGING. She was most proud of her children; they meant the world to her.
She is survived by her sons Jason, Brian and Ian with wife Christiana, daughter Sarah with husband Brendon, Grandchildren Emora, Juliana and Briar.
Aside from the children she doted on, Wendy is survived by her sister Michelle and loving husband, Kevin.
