Sarah Stephens Moore, age 83, of Waynesville, NC passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024. Sarah was born in Haywood County on March 25, 1941, to the late Hershel and Elza Deweese Stephens. She enjoyed cooking, being a homemaker, traveling. Most of all, Sarah loved spending time with her family. Sarah retired from Haywood County Schools as a cafeteria manager.
In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her brothers, Danny and Sammy Stephens.
Sarah is survived by her son Jeffery Moore (Ginger); daughter, Lisa Moore; granddaughter, Miranda Lankford (Logan); and the father of her children, John Moore.
At Sarah's request, a private family service will be held at a later date.
