Mark Wayne McClure

Mark Wayne McClure, 40, died peacefully on Friday, March 24, 2017, after a long illness. Wayne was born in Haywood County, on June 9, 1976, to Mark Walter McClure (Mary Ann) and Mary Bolden Lanning (Gary). Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and riding motorcycles. Wayne was an avid Seattle Seahawks fan who loved his family and his friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Donald and Florence McClure. In addition to his parents, Wayne is survived by his daughter, Ashlynn McClure; his son, Tanner McClure; his brothers, Gary Lanning (Pamela) and Logan McClure (Michelle); his maternal grandparents, Leon and Annie Mae Bolden; five aunts; three uncles; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Waynesville-Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, March 27, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Pastors Cameron Bolden, Randy Bolden and Marvin Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Buchanan Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Leon and Annie Mae Bolden.
