Marla, I am so sorry to hear of your mama’s passing. She was always so kind to me when we were in elementary and middle school. She always appeared so happy and joyful that it was almost contagious! 
Please know I will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.


Dear Marla and Family, Saw the obit about the passing of Fay and wanted to say how sorry we are.  The picture in the Asheville Citizen was great and brought back so many memories from the years we shared. She and I were the same age, and I am still here, though with many aging issues. I think I was in the hospital or recovery when your Dad passed.  Jonlyn and I both send love to all of you. Keith (Parker)

We are sorry to hear of your loss. We always loved fay. We loved hearing her play the piano. We are sorry we couldn't come to the funeral I was working and mom was sick.

Fay was a special person to our family.  When I was small, I would sometimes sit beside her in church and I was always interested in watching her play the piano.  She had a unique style of playing the piano and the organ and added a certain flair to whatever song she played.  There is no way to count the number of times she played for my Dad and me to sing solos or duets and she played for thousands of choir specials and church services.  
Fay and Conley were the best neighbors to Mom and Dad and Mom has missed her not being in her home the last couple of years.  She was a wonderful Christian lady and had a very positive influence on all who knew her.  
She is with her sweet Conley, her parents who she cared for so well  and her brothers Gay and Guy who loved her so much.  
Blessings for Marla, Ben, Primo, Enzo and Rowen who took such good care of Fay during her decline.  Love to you all. 

To the family ,sending our deepest hearted Sympathy  and Sincere Condolences , Gay was not only a member of our church  family,  but also like close family to us . Fay was one of my sweetest and  dearest best friends . I’ll always carry with me the most  beautiful ,and most  wonderful memories of her . May she Rest In Peace knowing that she was loved and thought of so highly by all those who were blessed by her presence . We will all miss her , her beautiful smile , and her beautiful  Soul touching music , that God blessed her with .  So Fay I’ll say Goodbye for now , Until we see each other again,  my  sweet beloved  Sister and friend .

Fay was always a special friend as we lived  in the same community and attended church together. Being younger I always looked up to her as she sang beautifully and played the piano from childhood.  She certainly lived up to "A Good Name is Rather to Be Chosen" throughout her lifetime and a person who loved everyone and was a great example.  I feel a loss even though we were not together as much after adulthood but kept that special friendship and love.  I know she is singing in His Presence today and rejoicing.  May He give you strength as you go through the difficult days and feel His Presence.

Faye was a wonderful person. She was a very important part of Ratcliffe Cove Baptist Church when I was growing up. I'm sure she will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences.
