Edward Lee Mintz

Edward Lee Mintz, age 71, of Waynesville, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022. Edward was born in Haywood County, Nc on April 26, 1951 to the late James and Mary Mintz. Edward enjoyed restoring antique cars and meeting people. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Rose Woods Greenarch; half-sister, Edna Cagle; brother, Elzie Mintz; half-brothers, Gene Mintz, Paul Mintz, Harry Mintz, Joe Mintz, and James Mintz.

Left to Cherish his memory is his loving wife, Elizabeth Conard Mintz; daughter, Michelle (Brian) Royster; grandchildren, David, Priscilla, and Felicia; brother, James R. Mintz (Debra); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 3, at Victory Baptist Church with the Reverend Jerry Nelson officiating. Burial will be at Garrett Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm prior to the service at the church.

The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of Four Seasons Hospice and Garrett Funeral Home for their care of Edward and the family. They would also like to thank Victory Baptist Church and the many relatives and friends for their visits, calls and prayers.
