My prayers are with you and your family. You were an inspiration to me and my late wife for the year you spent in Orange Park.

I'm very sorry to hear about Charlie.  He managed my rental property in Jacksonville and did an amazing job!  My condolences to the Ragsdale family.

I am  so deeply sorry to hear of Charles passing. Loosing a loved one is such a heart breaking event.   As someone who recently lost a parent I find much comfort in John 5:28,29,  where God promised to reunite us with our dear loved ones in a near future. May this scripture and the God of all comfort  help your family to endure. My thoughts are with your family.

Very sorry to hear about Charlie, who I spent many fun times with over the years. I had a lot of fun hanging out with him and Hoss. He always opened his home to others and made sure we left full when we came over, as he often cooked for us, including amazing burgers and sausages. He was always the life of the party and easy to spot in a crowd because of his tall stature and big personality. He was definitely a magnet for friends. His place was often home base for watching games or before fun nights on the town. He was also very confident and not scared of anyone, and it was comforting to know we had him on our side. You could trust he’d tell you what he was actually thinking which was refreshing. What I remember the most about Charlie was how he loved entertaining people, how much he loved Hoss, how much he liked goofing around next to his amazing fire pit, and how passionate he was about music. He was always sharing new songs over his SONOS system or beaming about the many concerts he attended. I don’t know anyone as outgoing or happy to meet new people as Charlie, except maybe Hoss. Very sorry to hear about this and the family is in my thoughts. 

Charlie was a kind, sweet, generous, caring Uncle to my daughters. We were grateful to have him in our family and make some of the most memorable and cherished memories over the years. Our thoughts and prayers are with John, Sally and the rest of his family.  💛 Jessie, Tori, Ava, and Hattie.

This is from my mother in-law who was your sons kindergarten teacher, her name is Wanda Cook.          “  Thanks for letting me know.  I taught Charlie 28 years ago.  He was a memorable little boy - kind, sweet, and creative.  After that many years and more, needless to say, I don't recall them all but I do remember Charlie!  I hope maybe that will bring comfort to his parents and others who loved him.  As a mother, I would want to know that my child was remembered fondly and had a positive impact on people around him.❤️“

I will always remember Charlie for his larger than life personality and infectious laugh. He was a truly great guy with a big heart. When I first moved to Jacksonville, I knew no one and I started working at the 5 Points theater where I met Charlie. We became instant friends. For the next 6 years, there wasn't a day that went by that I didn't see or talk to him. He was a great friend that I have so many great memories with. I was honored to be one of his groomsmen in his wedding, to share advice and stories, watch him succeed in his new business ventures, and to just be his friend. I will miss him very much. Love you, man. See you on the other side.
