Kathy A. Hollowood

 She was born Tuesday, July 17, 1951 in Bedford,IN. A daughter of the late Amos Lynch, Jr. and Mary Robbins Lynch.

  Ms. Hollowood was a member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church in Waynesburg where she was a Eucharist Minister. She was also a member of the Women's Guild of St. Ann,  the R.C.I.A. Team, and the West Greene Lions Club. She was a former member of the Harvey's Grange,and the Order of Eastern Star. She was also the former West Greene Education Association President. She was a 4-H member and loved to travel, cook, garden,and quilt afghans. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Ms Hollowood was a graduate of West Greene High School and a graduate of California Teachers College in California, PA. She taught Special Education for 30 plus years in the West Greene School District retiring in 2007. 

              Surviving are 2 Daughters: Cassandra D. (Patrick C.) Haught, and Robin K. Taylor, both of Waynesburg, PA.,1  Son:

Nathaniel A. (Alicia) McDonald, Hillard, OH., 6 Grandchildren: Dalton Taylor, Cameron Reese Haught, Eliza McDonald, Ella McDonald, Hannah McDonald, Clara McDonald, 1 Sister:

Karen S. Affinito, of Pittsburgh, PA., and several nieces and nephews as well as cousins in Indiana.

 Friends will be received from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,197 N. Maiden St Waynesburg, PA 15370 The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 7:30PM. A prayer service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00Am at the St. Ann Roman Catholic Church in Waynesburg with Father Francis Frazier as Celebrant. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Twp.,McMurray, PA.  The family ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life Greene County,  PA. Visitation will be held at the Waynesburg Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
