Karen Sue Phillips, 75, of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania passed at 12:18 PM, Friday, December 1, 2023 at the WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital. She was born August 15, 1948 in Waynesburg, PA, a daughter of the late Scott Patterson and Madeline Harder Patterson. Karen was a caregiver to the elderly while her health permitted. Her Husband: James A. Phillips, whom she married on November 6, 1967 survives. Also surviving are a Daughter: Janet (Joey) Kramer of Waynesburg, PA, a Son: Jamie Phillips and fiance Melissa Toland of Waynesburg, PA, 4 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild, 1 Brother: Gary (Stephanie) Patterson of Greensburg, PA and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are 1 Son- Jeffrey Allen Phillips, 2 Sisters- Nellie Funk and Louise Rogers, 3 Brothers- Lovell Patterson who died in infancy, Eddie Patterson and Paul Joseph "Pat" Patterson. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 7, 2023 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 197 N. Maiden St. Waynesburg, PA 15370 Shane M. Ayers, Director where services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 8, 2023 with Pastor Don Amon officiating.
